RAIPUR: Virat Kohli fan Manish Bisi , 21, is no stranger to life's swings but there was one that left the Chhattisgarh youth stumped when he heard the unforgettable words - "Hello, main Virat bol raha hoon...". The dramatic turn came when a technical glitch led to Manish, of Madagaon in Gariaband being allotted a number used by Rajat Patidar , RCB captain and Virat's teammate, reports Partha Behra.
Soon, Manish started getting calls from other celebrities like RCB's Yash Dayal and AB de Villiers . "When Kohli sir called, Manish, who is shy by nature, handed the phone to me. I spoke to him and thought it was a prank call," Manish's friend Khemraj Bisi told TOI.
Rajat's number had been inactive for nearly six months and was re-assigned to Manish in a routine process.
Manish's run on the cross-connection pitch ended as Rajat, unable to use his old number, contacted cyber cell. "We have returned the number to Rajat," SP Rakhecha said.
