Movement of suspicious men prompts search op in Kathua

Jammu: Security forces launched a search operation in the upper reaches of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday after reports about the movement of two-three suspected persons in the area.

Army and J&K Police personnel launched a joint search operation in Malad village after some locals reported about a group of men who enquired them about routes late Friday night, official sources said.

On July 16, the forces had launched a search operation in a forward area along the International Border in Hiranagar area of Kathua after a villager reported the movement of two suspected persons on Tuesday night.
