Dominik Mysterio , one of the members of the Judgment Day faction, has built a reputation for himself and is known as one of WWE 's top trash talkers. He likes to be centred among controversy by making controversial remarks. Recently, Mysterio passed a remark on the Lucha brothers and called Penta and Rey Fenix are 'ugly.'
The member of the Judgment Day faction was last seen at WrestleMania 41 alongside Finn Balor, Bron Breakker, and Penta in a fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship , which he won by betraying his faction's stablemate, Finn Balor. After which, he subsequently became the new Intercontinental Champion of WWE.
Mysterio has again made headlines after commenting on the looks of the Lucha Brothers. He accused the brothers of looking less than desirable, for which they had to resort to wearing masks.
Dominik Mysterio takes a jibe at Lucha Brothers
Dominik Mysterio has made headlines again for his trash talk, and has recently taken a jibe at the Lucha Brothers, Penta, and Rey Fenix. During a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Mysterio spoke about the Lucha brothers and how they take the help of masks to look less desirable and ‘ugly.’
Mysterio was even asked in the show about Penta and Rey Fenix debuting with the company, and he made no bones about the fact that they aren't on his level. During the interview, Mysterio said, "It took them long enough, right? We have 12, 13 guys with masks on. It doesn’t even matter. They all hide their faces. I’m a good-looking dude. I don’t need to wear a mask."
He further added, “If you go back to that WCW Eddie [Guerrero] segment where he demasks everyone, there is a reason these guys wear masks. They are all ugly. I could give a sh*t about Penta and Fenix. They are all fossils at this point compared to me. I already beat Penta. I beat Penta on the biggest stage of them all. I got into Monday Night Raw, and I beat him again. I am the greatest luchador and Mysterio of all time. These guys aren’t on my playing field." (Source: Fightful)
Besides this, reports suggest that the Lucha Brothers, Penta and Rey Fenix, are going to reunite in WWE. Earlier, both Penta and Fenix made their Show of the Shows debuts at WrestleMania 41, with Penta competing in the Intercontinental Championship four-way bout, and Fenix replacing an injured Rey Mysterio against El Grande Americano.
However, as per Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp said that both Penta and Fenix were capable of generating buzz as singles stars, making it a big moment whenever they do reunite, and he believes that they will “absolutely” come together in WWE at some point.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp said, “Yes, they’ll absolutely be together at some point in the future. When I asked someone associated with the creative, they thought that both were capable of holding their own separately, generating buzz on their own, and then could create a big moment whenever they reunite.”
