Sachin Pilgaonkar has joined the TV show Shirdi Wale Sai Baba as the Sutradhar. The actor gave an exclusive interview to TOI, where he spoke about his excitement on being a part of the show, his spiritual connection, and more. While talking about it, he mentioned how he visited Shirdi for the first time as a child and has been connected to the divine energy ever since.

When asked about his preparation towards the role, he said, “I have cut down the distance between Mumbai and Shirdi, and have decided to actually be there to him. So it is not acting, it’s sharing. Well, I was a child when I visited Shirdi for the first time. It was for a shoot for which me and my mother had gone. I stayed there in Shirdi. It was a small village and one day we had a gap and that’s when I went for darshan.”
Talking about his take on being a part of the show, he said, “When I was offered this role of being a presenter, I was delighted as I have a connection with Shirdi Wale Sai Baba right from my childhood and even before. I got an opportunity to work for this show called Shirdi Wale Sai Baba. A new version of the show has come up and I was chosen to present it and convey the message. I was delighted when I got to know, and I treat this as Seva. This isn’t just a professional responsibility for me but also a devotional service.”
