Karnataka SSLC Exam Result 2025: How to access duplicate marksheet and fail marks card for KSEAB 10th results

The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board (KSEAB) will announce the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results for 2025 on May 2 at 11:30 AM. More than 8.96 lakh students, including 4,61,563 boys and 4,34,884 girls, who appeared for the exams between March 21 and April 4, 2025, await their results. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa will declare the results at the KSEAB office in Bengaluru.

The examinations were conducted across 2,818 centers in Karnataka in pen-and-paper mode. The evaluation process involved 65,000 assessors working at 240 evaluation centers to ensure accuracy and transparency in marking.

Students can access their results through multiple official websites including kseab.karnataka.gov.in, karresults.nic.in, and pue.karnataka.gov.in. Results will be available online from 12:30 PM onwards.


The previous year's overall pass percentage was 73.40 percent, showing a decline from 83.89 percent in 2023 and 85.13 percent in 2022. The highest pass percentage was recorded in 2021 at 99.99 percent.

For students unable to access the websites due to high traffic, results can be checked via SMS by sending "KAR10 (Roll Number)" to 56263. Students will receive their results directly on their phones.

Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for revaluation and rechecking of answer papers. The dates for revaluation will be announced shortly by KSEAB.

The board has also provided guidelines for obtaining duplicate marksheets and fail marks cards. Students can apply online at kseab.karnatak.gov.in by submitting required documents in PDF format.

For duplicate marksheets, students must submit a copy of affidavit, Aadhar card, and original marks card if available. The application should be addressed to the Secretary, Karnataka School Examination & Assessment Board.

For fail marks cards, candidates need to submit a request letter addressed to the Secretary and a copy of their Aadhar card. All documents must be between 500 KB and 1 MB in size.

After document upload and fee payment, applications will be processed at the respective divisional office. The marks cards will be sent via registered mail to the address mentioned on the Aadhar card.

Supplementary examinations for students who fail or are dissatisfied with their marks are expected to be held in June or July 2025. Detailed information about these exams will be announced by KSEAB later.

The gender-wise performance comparison from previous years shows girls achieving 91.52% pass rate compared to boys at 85.12%. Transgender students recorded a 50.00% pass rate.

For payment-related queries, students must email their PGI reference number, application number, and name to sadpi-cc-kseeb@ka.gov.in if the payment status remains pending despite successful payment.

Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready and regularly check the official websites for updates regarding results and revaluation processes.

The examination included core subjects like mathematics, science, social science, and three language papers, maintaining the comprehensive evaluation format of previous years.
