Man injured in bear attack in Keonjhar

A 24-year-old man was severely injured in a bear attack while grazing goats in the Kendeipasi forest near Balanipasi village in Keonjhar district on Thursday. Charan Naik, a resident of Kendeipasi village, sustained severe neck injuries in the attack and was immediately rushed to the Keonjhar district headquarters hospital. Patna forester Banabihari Sardar said forest officials visited the hospital to ensure proper medical attention for the victim. "A forest department team has been deployed to the area to monitor the movements of the bear and prevent any further incident," he added.
