You don't have to travel abroad in order to enjoy gorgeous sandy beaches and clear blue waters, as the UK is filled with beautiful seaside towns that have everything you might need and more.
The town of Sheridan sits at the Norfolk coast, just an hour north of Norwich. While it might not sound like anything special at first, having a population of only 7,367 people, according to the 2011 census.
However, most people soon change their mind, as many tourists have claimed it feels like they're stepping back in time once they enter the picturesque town for a day trip or holiday.
The town is bustling with things to do, as it's got an award-winning beach, gorgeous nature and parks to explore, as well as local and military museums to enjoy.
Taking to TikTok, one woman decided to share their experience of visiting the small town, as she claimed it was a town 'where time slowed down'.
"Sheringham - a cosy seaside town where time slows down. Colourful cottages, fresh sea breeze, and the sound of waves - it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer," she wrote in the caption of the video.
She went on to share her video, which started by showing a woman, dressed in a blue dress and wearing a sunhat, walking along the platform at the trainstation.
The clip was filmed from the inside of what looked to be an older train, which immedietly made it feel like you'd travelled back in time.
The TikTok creator then went on to show short clips from their visit to Sheringham, which included the high street that had been decorated by colourful buntings that were hanging in the sky, before it showed a parade of older women dancing and parading through the town.
They then went on to show the beach, which had people enjoying the view and doing activities in the blue water, despite it being a cloudy-looking day.
And what would a seaside town visit be without having an ice cream? They walked past pastel colour buildings before arriving at their chosen ice cream shop, where she got a chocolate covered cone that had been filled with ice cream.
And no seaside town would be complete without spotting some seagulls, which the creator spotted with one sat on a wall in the town, observing the people that walked past them.
People were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts, with many being amazed by how serene and picturesque the town seemed to be.
"I love Britain one of my favourite countries," one person wrote.
Another viewer said: "This is not just a video. It's like opening up to a brand new dimension of extraordinary power!"
