Nigel Farage will declare Reform UK as the party of small business at a press conference today. The Reform leader will announce a new group to advise his insurgent party on its small business policies.
He is expected to unveil a "famous figure who knows what it's like to build up a business from nothing".
In an article for the Telegraph, he warned Mr that small businesses were the "most ignored and put-upon" sector and "punitively taxed and over-regulated" but were the "vital lifeblood" of the UK economy.
He added: "For too long they have effectively been exploited as a cash cow, forced to pay for successive governments' economic mistakes. No government in recent memory has been on the side of small business.
"No longer. I have said that Reform UK will be the party of business - and especially small business."
