Atalanta have set their sights on Liverpool's Federico Chiesa. The Italian outfit are currently finalising the exit of Ademola Lookman, who has been in talks with Inter Milan.
If Lookman departs, Atalanta are prepared to consider making a formal approach for Chiesa, who ranks high on their list of attacking targets, according to The Mirror.
The 27-year-old, who moved to Liverpool from Juventus just last summer, recently scored in a pre-season thrashing of Stoke but was subsequently left out of the Reds' Asian tour due to a muscle problem.
But he is available for the right price as he seeks regular playing time, something that Liverpool boss Arne Slot can't guarantee.
Liverpool initially paid £10million plus approximately £2.5m in add-ons for Chiesa - a fan favourite at Anfield - although not all of these conditions have been met.
The Premier League champions would be looking to make a profit on any potential deal.
