Since quitting royal life in 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have held a united front on the most part. Whether that be their shared love of Montecito, their criticism of the monarchy, or the work they carry out under their Archewell Foundation, the couple always seem to be joint in their approach.
However, there is no denying the fact that over the last year, this has not always been the case. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used to favour joint engagements together, Harry, 40, has frequently been seen now carrying out solo engagements, with his recent trip to Angola being an example of this.
Likewise, Meghan has also stepped out on her own more than ever before, keeping her brand As Ever completely separate from her husband.
While things between the couple personally seem to be as strong as ever, with the pair having celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this year, it is believed that on a professional level the pair may no longer be "synchronised".
This is the view of Senior Private Investigator at Private Investigations UK John Eastham, who told Express.co.uk: "Frequent solo engagements-especially high-profile ones-are one of the earliest indicators that two people are no longer synchronised."
This view has also been echoed by other experts before, with many believing Harry and Meghan have had a professional separation.
Earlier this year, Pauline Maclaran, professor of marketing and consumer research at Royal Holloway, told the BBC: "They seem to have separated their brands."
She continued: "I think it's likely to be much more successful because I think the two of them together weren't really getting any strong recognition."
The couple are also likely to continue working on their separate work ventures following the news that their five-year deal with Netflix, which the couple signed in 2020, will end in September and will not be renewed.
It is believed Meghan will continue focusing on her As Ever brand, while Harry is likely to continue his charity work.
