A contestant on ITV's The Chase brought a halt to the hosted quiz show when a repeated episode was aired on Saturday evening. In the celebrity edition of the popular programme, CBBC legends Dick and Dom made an appearance as they made a shocking revelation about how they met.
Before gearing up to go head-to-head with , Dom admitted to the presenter that his long-time pal, Dick, had betrayed him during one of their most recent TV gigs. Interested in their lengthy friendship, which has spanned a couple of decades, Brad asked: "When did you first meet Richard?" The children's TV host replied in jest as he quipped: "Prison!"

He then answered properly, adding: "He had been doing children's for about, what? Three months? And then I got a job and I recognised him straight away. He knew I was the new boy on the scene and we were only 18. We just got chatting and got on really, really well. And that was it, 26 years later, we're still together."
However, the presenting pair then shared an awkward moment in their friendship that was actually televised. Dick shared: "We've been on a few game shows," as Dom was quick to call him out, adding: "Well, the last time we were on a game show, get this, he voted me off!
"It's absolutely true! And I said to him, I whispered: 'What the hell are you doing?' He went: 'Don't worry mate, it'll make great telly.' That was it. Off."
Despite their bickering, the pals put on a stellar performance with Dick securing a whopping £90,000 for the Final Chase prize pot - despite landing just a measley £2,000 in his cashbuilder round. He had completely turned the game around.
In the end, all four celebrity contestants made it through to the final round, with them going head to head with Anne 'The Governess' for a final time, hoping to bag more than £102,000 for charity.
Unfortunately for the players, Anne really was on form in the final round and she eliminated them all, meaning that they were sent home without the winnings. However, since it was a celebrity show, each of the contestants still took £1,000 each home for their chosen charities.
