Emmerdale fans predict huge love twist ahead of Vinny's wedding - and it isn't with Kammy

A spanner has been thrown in the works on recent episodes of Emmerdale as Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) prepare to tie the knot, but they are both facing their own problems. While Gabby appears to be battling with her weight, Vinny appears to have turned his attention elsewhere.

The husband-to-be has recently befriended Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), but things turned romantic quickly as a laugh turned into an attempted kiss. The awkward moment left Kammy confused, while Vinny tried to say it was just a joke. It has left Vinny's mind whirling as he wonders about his sexuality, as Kammy has decided to stay by his friend. On Wednesday evening's episode, the ITV soap saw the pals together once more as fans noticed there was a bit of a spark - but it was between Vinny and another male character.

Fans predicted that the story could lead in a very different direction as they suggested that Vinny and Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) could end up together instead. Taking to X/Twitter, one fan guessed: " Something is going to happen between Lewis and Vinny #Emmerdale."

Another echoed: "They're not gonna put Vinny & Lewis together......are they?" One more said: "Lewis and Vinny will be a couple soon."

"Poor Vinnie better not get drunk on his stag night. Kammy and Lewis are both eyeing him up #Emmerdale," another viewer joked.

Kammy actor, Shabz, recently broke his silence on the fictional friendship. He explained: "Kammy realises that there's a bigger issue at hand for Vinny, because he's been going to such extreme lengths to impress for his anniversary with Gabby, but on the other hand, he's misread the signals and has tried to kiss Kammy.

"So Kammy does support Vinny on this journey that they go on - and it does get quite exciting." He added: "Kammy's so relaxed with it. He's so comfortable with himself that it doesn't affect him. The only thing that does affect him is 'You are getting married to Gabs. You need to understand the situation'.

"So Kammy isn't bothered about the kiss, he more feels for Vinny. Because now it's opened up this different perspective on the relationship that Vinny has with people.

"Kammy's trying to support him on his journey. He's trying to understand and make it easier for Vinny and help him and guide him as to what is going on, because he is obviously in a position where he's not entirely sure."
