ITV fans who tune into Emmerdale will witness a frosty exchange between two characters who will go head-to-head. After Ruby Miligan (played by Beth Cordingly) covers Caleb's shift at the Depot, she confronts Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) at the Surgery over something she saw yesterday. With Manpreet left embarrassed, she later turns up at the Depot to have it out with Ruby. When Ruby dismisses Manpreet, she hijacks a forklift and refuses to get off until they speak. Ruby isn't fazed when Manpreet brings up her cheating on Caleb with Cain, but things take a turn when Steph's name is mentioned and Ruby attacks her.
Meanwhile, Caleb (William Ash) is confident the Depot's in good hands as he sips on a pint in The Woolpack. But back at the Depot, Manpreet and Ruby are both unwilling to back down and are ultimately arrested for ABH. After spending a night behind bars, will the pair be able to patch things up?
Meanwhile, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) faces more issues in the long-running ITV soap. Struggling with his sexuality, Vinny comes into contact with a man called Mike, who claims to be battling the same issues as him. They eventually meet in person, chatting in the nearby countryside. Vinny appreciates Mike's friendliness, and their bond grows stronger.
When Mike asks Vinny if he's gay, Vinny's confusion about defining his sexuality is clear, but he's grateful and comforted as he believes Mike's support will help him understand it. Later, Vinny arranges to see Mike again soon, but is left conflicted when he shares a passionate kiss with fiancé Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
The next day, Gabby tells Vinny she's spending the night at a spa as he receives an urgent message from Mike. Showing up at Vinny's door, Mike claims his wife has kicked him out.
Mike hints at an attraction between them, but leaves Vinny terrified moments later when he turns on him. With Gabby thinking she's left her phone at home, will she be able to save Vinny from Mike?
Discussing the dark storyline, Bradley told Express Online and other press: "We see a shift in Mike's body language and his attitude. He starts saying some really horrible and hurtful stuff to Vinny. He beats Vinny up. It's a horrendous sort of beating.
"Vinny's on the floor and having flashbacks to everything that happened with him and Paul. Mike demands that he sends him £10,000 or he'll expose his secret to Gabby."
The soap star added: "What I think is so cruel is that Mike's done, he's secretly recorded Vinny on every meeting that they've had. When Vinny is on the floor, scared and vulnerable, he plays this recording back to him and we see Vinny's world completely collapse."
Emmerdale airs on ITV and ITVX during weekdays.
