The suspected gunman who killed Charlie Kirk has been named as 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler J Robinson - who was allegedly turned in to the police by his dad in the wake of the fatal shooting.
Donald Trump claims the FBI have a man in custody who they believe to be the shooter of Charlie Kirk. Speaking live on Fox News, Trump said that someone close to the suspect had handed him in to authorities but investigations were still ongoing to determine if he was part of a wider network.
"I think with a high degree of certainty that we have him in custody," Trump said. "Everyone did a great job, we worked with the local police, the governor. Everyone did a great job."
Investigators at a press conference in Utah also revealed today exactly what was written on the assassin's bullets, and how police began tracking down the suspect.
