13 Indians including four children were killed and 57 others were injured in Pakistani firing near the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. After India's attack, the Pakistani army started firing indiscriminately on the LoC. Innocent people were targeted. The Pakistani army fired mortars in many forward areas of Poonch, Kupwara, Tangdhar.

After India's attack, Pakistan opened heavy fire in the forward areas near the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. 13 people including four children were killed in this attack while 57 others were injured. According to the information, after India's missile attack, the Pakistan Army immediately started retaliatory action in the forward areas near the LoC late on Wednesday night. During this, the Pakistan Army also fired mortars.

However, the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the shelling. Many people of the enemy side also suffered casualties in the action of the Indian Army. During this, India destroyed many posts of Pakistan. Pakistan fired from all areas of the Line of Control in Poonch. Apart from this, shells were also fired in the forward areas of Rajouri and Uri, Karnah and Tangdhar sectors of Kupwara.

13 Indians killed in firing by Pak army

This shelling started in the entire border areas at around 2 o'clock in the night. Due to indiscriminate shelling, many houses were damaged, vehicles were burnt, shops were damaged. The officer said that heavy artillery and mortars were used by Pakistan. Dozens of forward villages and densely populated areas of Mankot, Mendhar, Thandi Kassi and Poonch city were targeted.

There are 13 Indians who lost their lives in the Pakistani firing. Army officials said that the names of 12 have been revealed while the whereabouts of one are still unknown.

  • Officials said ten people, including five minor children, were injured in cross-border shelling in Uri sector of Baramulla, while three others were injured in Rajouri. They said several houses caught fire due to the firing in Karnah sector of Kupwara district.
