Kia India has kicked off the festive season with an enticing offer combining pre-GST savings and festive benefits, allowing customers to save up to Rs 2.25 lakh on select models. This limited-time offer is valid only until September 22, 2025, ahead of the new GST 2.0 tax regime taking effect.
The benefits vary by region and model. For example, buyers in Kerala can save up to Rs 2.25 lakh on the Kia Seltos, while in Tamil Nadu, customers can avail up to Rs 1.55 lakh discount on the recently launched Carens Clavis. Savings on the standard Carens MPV can reach up to Rs 1.30 lakh, combining pre-GST discounts of up to Rs 58,000 with festive benefits up to Rs 1.67 lakh.
Kia clarified that it will fully pass on the benefits of the new GST 2.0 structure, which streamlined tax slabs for vehicles to 5% and 18%, while imposing a special tax on luxury SUVs and bikes above 350cc. Notably, the earlier compensation cess has been entirely removed, enabling Kia to reduce prices by as much as ₹4.48 lakh on some models, such as the flagship Kia Carnival.
Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, stated that the company aims to enhance customer value by combining affordability with comfort and style this festive season. This move underscores Kia's commitment to making car ownership accessible amidst the evolving tax landscape.
Customers interested in availing of these discounts are advised to act fast before the offer expires on September 22, 2025.
