The family of Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre has issued a blistering attack condemning Donald Trump, demanding he not pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.
Relatives of the sex offenders ‘teen sex slave' have also condemned the president after he claimed that the late paedophile financier "stole" her from his Florida resort when she was just 16. In an emotional statement, the father of Giuffre, who died by suicide in April, branded Maxwell a “monster who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of her life”.
“It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say that he was aware that Virginia had been ‘stolen’ from Mar-a-Lago,” dad Sky, sister-in-law Amanda Roberts and brother Danny and his wife Lanette Wilson, said. “It makes us ask if he was aware of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's criminal actions.” It comes after Donald Trump was seen with a mystery mark in Scotland after his chronic health diagnosis.

Trump made the remarks during an impromptu press conference aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, where he claimed Epstein had poached staff from his Mar-a-Lago estate. He named Giuffre, who had worked at the resort spa as a locker room attendant when she was a teenager. "Everyone knows the people that were taken," Trump said. "People were taken out of the spa hired by him.
"I didn't know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, 'Listen, we don't want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa. I don't want you taking people.' And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, 'Out of here.'"
Trump claims he officially banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago in 2004. But prior to their fallout, both the paedophile and Maxwell had been regulars at his exclusive Palm Beach club, often photographed alongside Trump and his then-girlfriend Melania. Giuffre’s family said the president’s sudden recollection of her employment and alleged exploitation raised “disturbing questions”, not least because Trump had once publicly joked that Epstein “likes women on the younger side… no doubt about it.”
“We and the public are asking for answers; survivors demand this,” their statement read.
Giuffre, one of Epstein and Maxwell’s most vocal accusers, had long claimed she was recruited into the sex ring in 2000, after the British socialite approached her at the Mar-a-Lago spa. She was just 16 at the time. She would go on to accusePrince Andrew of having sex with her on three occasions at the behest of Epstein, a claim the Duke of York repeatedly and vehemently denied.
Her family added: “We would like to clarify that our sister was preyed upon by Maxwell during her time working for Trump. This was in 2000, four years before Trump and Epstein reportedly fell out.” Now, amid growing rumours in Washington that Maxwell is negotiating to testify before Congress in exchange for immunity, the Giuffre family has issued an impassioned plea to Trump.
They asked lawmakers not to entertain any deal that could lead to clemency for the disgraced British socialite. “If our sister could speak today, she would be most angered by the fact that the government is listening to a known perjurer,” the family wrote. “A woman who repeatedly lied under oath and will continue to do so as long as it benefits her position.”
They added: “Ghislaine Maxwell is a monster who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of her life for the extraordinary violence and abuse she put not just our sister Virginia through, but many other survivors, who may number in the thousands. A predator who thought only of herself, she destroyed the lives of girls and young women without conscience.”
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence at a Florida federal prison. Last week, she met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in what sources described as a two-day "debriefing" session. Her legal team has since indicated that she is willing to testify before Congress, but only if she is guaranteed immunity from any future prosecution.
The Giuffre family called such a scenario “a travesty of justice.” “Virginia always said that Ghislaine Maxwell was vicious and could often be more cruel than Epstein,” the statement read. “She endured death threats, threats against the lives of her children and family, financial ruin, and her physical and mental well-being were destroyed.”
They added: “She must remain in prison, anything less would go down in history as being one of the highest travesties of justice.” Trump, when asked last week whether he was considering granting clemency to Maxwell, told reporters he had “not thought” about it.

Meanwhile, pressure continues to mount on the Trump administration to release long-rumoured files relating to Epstein’s alleged network of high-profile clients. The Justice Department has so far declined to publish the so-called “client list”, citing a lack of definitive evidence. It came despite Trump promising to release the files on his old friend, Epstein, while campaigning for the White House.
Epstein, who was convicted in 2008 for solicitation of prostitution, was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. He died by suicide in his prison cell later that year, before facing trial.
