A punter has landed a ‘stuff of dreams’ bet after combining five winners in multiple bets. The customer placed a number of wagers on the racing action on Thursday, spreading their picks across four different meetings.
By the time the day was over they had earned a whopping payout of £74,215.87 after the five horses all found their way to the winners’ enclosure.
The lion’s share of the winnings came from a £1 each-way five-fold featuring Saisons D’Or, who returned at a starting price of 14-1 at Southwell, Petit Tonnerre, who was backed at 18-1.
Jeriko Du Reponet won at 13-2 at Punchestown, Telecommunication (11-4) at Yarmouth and Nelson Gay scored at odds of 7-1 at Ayr. That bet landed the smart punter a tidy £64,311.57.

The winning didn’t stop there, as the customer also had 50p each-way doubles, 10p each-way trebles and a 20p each-way four-fold on the same selections, seeing his total returns bumped up to a remarkable £74,215.87.
William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “These bets really are the stuff of punters’ dreams. Finding five winners across four different cards is sensational in itself, but to combine them into a £1 each-way five-fold with a return of £64k is something altogether amazing.
“And that’s not all either, as thanks to the customer’s small stakes each-way doubles, trebles and four-fold, they’ve walked away with north of £74k! We have to tip our hat to this punter and pay out with a smile when a series of bets like this is landed.”
