Emmerdale star Georgia Jay 'feeling nervous' as she reveals pregnancy with sweet post

actress Georgia Jay has confirmed her pregnancy in a post shared on social media after weeks of fan speculation. The star, who is known for her role as Steph Miligan in the long-running soap, has been the centre of fan rumours after fans were questioning whether she was pregnant on the show or in real life.

Along with a professional photo of her showcasing her growing baby bump, she said: "As you’ve probably guessed, I’ve got some news to share! I know some of you have been wondering if you’ve been seeing a little bump on screen lately… well, it’s not your imagination... I’m having a baby! We’ve never been so excited and a little nervous all at once. Thank you for all the love and support."

Friends and fans took to the comment section to share their excitement for the star, with Danny Miller writing: "What?!!!!!!!" and Michelle Hardwick adding: "Beautiful Mama."

Lisa Riley added: "You absolute beauty….. BUMPALISHOUS BABY!!!!" while one follower commented: "Lovely. I did wonder seeing you hiding your bump on the tv. Congratulations."

"Congratulations Georgia you will be an amazing mum!!" another commented. One said: "Congratulations to you all that is fantastic news."

Over the weekend, Georgia showed off her baby bump in a TikTok video posted by Bradley Riches.

The Emmerdale star shared a picture dancing alongside Georgia and Beth Cordingly. Bradley captioned the clip: "The @Beth Cordingly and @Georgia Jay content you all asked for…"

After noticing her bump, fans rushed to the comment section. One user said: "THE GASP THAT JUST LEFT ME." Another said: "I knew Steph was preggers!! Thought it in the last scene she was in." One excited user added: "Congrats Georgia Jay."

Another posted: "This is such an iconic announcement. Congratulations Georgia!! Xx" Some fans were convinced her bump was a storyline for the soap series.

Georgia joined Emmerdale last year as Caleb and Ruby's daughter Steph.

She had a number of intense storylines, including finding out her grandfather Anthony Fox was actually her dad after he abused Steph's mum when she was a teenager.

Steph then sought plastic surgery as she wanted to change her appearance so she wouldn't resemble her abuse. Anthony was also murdered by Ruby and the death was covered up.
