With August almost upon us, and temperatures still fluctuating post-heatwave, many of us are still battling with soaring temperatures at night. While swapping out our duvets for lighter togs and adding fans can be a godsend, upgrading to cooling nightwear may be the answer.
Oodie, the brand behind the viral blanket hoodie, offers exactly that in its cooling PJs and it's currently running a deal that sees 30% knocked off. Shoppers can get the brand's Cooling Short Sleeve PJ Top, which usually retails at £39 for £27.30 and its matching shorts for the same price.
Available in sizes small to 2XL, the 'ultra breathable' top is made from 87% Modal and 13% Elastane and is said to be 'naturally cooling'. The brand explains: "Our modal blend is 21% more breathable than regular cotton jersey PJs."

Stretchy and 'buttery soft', the Oodie pyjamas with their pretty cloud pattern claim to be fade resistant and the brand adds they're great for hot sleepers as 'it allows airflow to prevent that sticky, overheating feeling'.
The PJs rival that of Marks and Spencer's Cool Comfort™ Printed Shortie Set pyjamas, which retail at £20 for a t-shirt and shorts. While their make-up is 'cotton rich', they have been crafted with Cool Comfort™ technology which 'regulates your temperature as you snooze'.
Alternatively, Uniqlo's AIRism Cotton Pyjamas, £34.90, has been praised by shoppers for keeping them cool in summer, with one person saying: "I usually sweat a lot in summer and these pyjamas have been good in keeping me cool." Although they added: "They aren’t completely cotton so be aware. I wish they were."
Fans of theOodie sethave been raving about the pyjamas top and bottoms, with some sharing how they exceeded their expectations.
One happy Oodie shopper wrote alongside a five star rating: "So these days it’s hard to find things that match up to your expectations but these exceeded mine. I can get quite hot at night and these are genuinely cooling. You notice when you first put them on but also I tend to sleep better in them too.
"I would definitely recommend. I’d love to buy these in other colours if they had them."
Someone else added: "I always run hot a night and these help me keep cooler. So so comfortable."
"The shirt is great! It's super super soft and definitely helps with cooling! Size up for the shorts if you want to match due to the increased tightness of the waistband on the shorts", added another.
Although for some people this cooling effect was lost on them. One shopper said: "They are literally made from the same material as the sleep tees, they're not cooling in the slightest. I really don't know why they are being marketed as this. I wish I hadn't spent the money on them."
The sleep teesare made from a similar make-up (with its Cloud designon sale for £29 from £55) leaving them breathable, buttery soft and comfy. The brand notes: "Made from a unique blend of bamboo and spandex to keep you cool and comfortable all night long."
Despite this, most people have hailed them as the 'best PJs ever': "These are the most comfortable and lightweight pjs I’ve ever worn. I no longer wake up covered in sweat, I sleep the whole night comfortably. I highly recommend these pjs, you won’t be sorry!!"
With the brand's 30% discount, shoppers can also get their hands on thebrand's Original Oodiefor £45 instead of £65.
