Recruitment for thousands of non-teaching posts, 8th pass to graduate, can apply

West Bengal School Service Commission has announced recruitment for 8477 posts of non-teaching staff. Recruitment for Group C and D posts will be conducted through a written examination and an interview.

A golden opportunity has come for the youth of West Bengal to get a government job. West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to 8477 posts of non-teaching staff in government and aided secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting wbssc.gov.in. Under this recruitment, recruitment will be done for both Group C and Group D posts. Group C includes 2989 and Group D includes 5488 posts.

Qualification and age limit

The minimum qualification for Group D posts has been kept as 8th pass. At the same time, candidates from 10th pass to graduate will be eligible to apply for Group C posts. The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 40 years. Reserved category will get relaxation as per the rules of the government.

This is how the selection will be done

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be called for interview.

This much application fee will have to be paid

To apply, candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 140 for Group C posts and Rs 120 for Group D posts. For SC, ST and Divyang candidates, the fee for Group C posts is Rs 70 and for Group D posts it is Rs 60.

How much salary will be given

After getting the job, candidates for Group C posts will get a monthly salary of Rs 22,700 to Rs 26,000. At the same time, candidates selected for Group D posts will be given a salary of Rs 20,050 per month. Along with this, they will also get the benefit of other government allowances.

Exam Pattern

There will be a total of 60 questions in the Group C exam. In this, 15-15 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General English and Arithmetic. There will be a total of 45 questions in the Group D exam, which will include 15-15 questions from General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Arithmetic.

After this, open the WBSSC Teachers Recruitment link and fill your information and upload the required documents. Submit the form after depositing the fee.
